Eventually we'll receive raid wide buffs that will allow us to kill festergut but for now I'd like to give him a couple more tries.

Of course assuming 2 tanks doing 3k each (easily done) and 5 healers, we'll need 18 dps doing 7200 dps each.

Besides getting a boomkin for the casters, what we could do is start flasking and bringing speed pots. The idea is to pop a speed pot 1 sec before festergut is pulled so everyone gets ~12 of semi-BL time. Then after the first Pungent Blight, pop the second speed pot. The first pot was used out of combat so it will be up in 2 min.

Also, about the pungent blight, apparently the 2nd Pungent blight will coincide with the enrage timer meaning it will kill everyone regardless of inoculation. So after the first blight, stacking with spores becomes useless so we should be able to dish out a bit more dps because of that.

These are just some ideas I've read upon. Also, if our healing is fine, we could consider switching out a healer for a dps. Doing this will drop the required dps from 7200 to 6800 which should be more reachable.

This is the first major gear/dps check boss in ICC so pulling out everything we have should definitely be top priority.
