Yes kiddies; it's time for the first ColdBlooded Forum - DATHRAGE!
Brought about in no small part by my short discussion with Blackbow the other night I thought since I have way too many things to say
and I don't want to give Brute a headache by discussing them on Vent and having him tell me to shut up repeatedly; I would type it all down here.

EVERY Guild has expectations of its members... period.
While I haven't been the model member the past few months with things in my personal and professional life I still didn't abandon the guild.
I enjoy this group of motley adventurers, thugs and petty bastards. On some deep level we are all LOOT WHORES.

4 Essential Rules for every guild member who WANTS TO RAID with ColdBlooded...

1. Don't be lazy you f*cks. We have a guild calendar and Etubrute does send out invites for every scheduled raid event. ANSWER HIM.
It takes less than a minute. If you DO NOT KNOW if you can attend an event then say NO. Suck it up. If you answer YES and hope for
the best and then don't show; don't whine about your loss of DKP. Saying YES is a lie when you do not attend.

2. DO NOT be impatient and get LOCKED to a raid YOU KNOW the guild does. Because everyone of us has lives outside of WoW and
we need every able bodied guild member to be available if we choose to add another raid event to the calendar; especially if we can field
the raid without having to pug fill spots. If the RAID you want to run has not been run by Friday night and none of the officers in the guild
have asked you to attend something they are doing themselves then go hogshit fucking crazy over the weekend; there will be a PLETHORA
of f@cktards running ONY!!!

PLETHORA i.e. a mulititude, a large number of a specific object, it means a whole lot of fucking morons trying to pug fucking raids instead
of being in a guild and giving everyone a fair shot at loot... wait til the Ony mount drops and you get fucked over! Oh wait for it!!

3. Contribute. Don't hamper. If you DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH F*CKING GOLD FOR REPAIRS then STOP RAIDING and do some GAWDAMN
dailies you lazy prick. Don't go Boo-Hoo about losing DKP for ANY reason. I don't want to hear it and neither does ANYONE else. Farm some
MATS if you want a potion or flask for the raid. Stop asking for handouts. Yes we have loads of gold in the G-Bank; but I assume that is for when
Etubrute wants to retire from WoW and have a nice paycheck for all his hard work and dedication to the guild and I say why the hell not!
( I sincerely doubt this; the G Bank is used for buying mats for raids... but we don't need Endless Rage flasks for clearing the first 3 wings in Uld; let alone for ToC )

4. DO NOT INCITE DATH-RAGE! Things that incite Dath-Rage are the following:
- telling me how to be a better player in WoW
- telling me how to play my class; because if you have time to tell me it shouldn't be that easy to fuck up a three button rotation for DPS while
we are in the middle of a boss fight, HOW HARD IS IT TO PLAY YOUR CLASS? Fuck off.
- telling me to buff you when it is someone else's job; pay the FUCK attention when Xand gives out paladin buff assignments and know which
paladin to ask for the buff you are missing; do not assume I am the one who forgot... I DID NOT FORGET
- yell at me because you are cranky things are not going correctly; I AM NOT DEAF
- bitch about problems that NO ONE cares about

Eg: Guildie: "I don't have enough gold for repairs after that third wipe on Yogg."
Dath: "Why the fuck not?!"
Guildie: "I didn't have time to do dailies with my hectic PvPing!"
Dath: "Funny last time I checked this was a RAIDING guild with PvP-lite."
Guildie" "So?"
Dath: "Stop being a lazy prick. Do dailies."
Guildie: "And when do you suggest I do them? I need to get another ten to twenty hours of PvP in this week if I am gonna get that sweet trinket to help my resilience set."
Dath: "Jesus I wish I had G-Kick privs!"
Etubrute: "If I gave you that right we would have no members."
Dath: "I have no IDEA what you're talking about Brute." - sarcastically

I really don't care if anyone reads this; I feel a weight has been lifted and my blood pressure went down as my fingers deftly and very forcefully
wrote out this post. I think my F key might be damaged. I said the F word a number of times and then went back and edited the post so it was
less like Denis Leary and maybe more of a rant. Thus endeth the rant. Please feel free to comment.

I miss WoW; my new job just didn't allow me to play and devote the kind of time I wanted to continue being a contribution to the guild and being an effective raider. Both of my accounts are now shut off and on the odd night I am home and able to be online, I sit staring at a huge monitor with no online gaming action.
You ever witness a heroine addict going cold turkey?! PHAK...
At some point I would love to return when I can actually be of use to the guild, and play more than 5 hrs in a week. When and if that will happen I do not know.

Just to be clear for everyone who might read this response; I did not rage quit due to not being invited to the raid; I rage quit because I am broke ( I cannot even afford to pay for my monthly fee to game... not a lie ), my job is a joke but still my job and I couldn't earn my spot on the raid roster any further.

PS Brute, I should have listened to you and just went inactive and stayed in the guild. My rage does get the better of me on more than one occasion. Wink

I didn't know you very well, but all the same i hope you can get back on your feet.

I will miss the dath rage and the plethora of feasts you provided. Take it easy man-- hope to see you soon under better circumstances.
